Summer Dennis Marketing Project

This project was a comprehensive digital marketing campaign designed to launch and establish the online presence of the artist Summer Dennis. The goal was to build a strong brand identity, increase her visibility, and drive engagement with her music. I was responsible for the end-to-end execution of this project, encompassing all aspects of digital marketing from foundational strategy to implementation and performance analysis.

Key Deliverables:

 

  • Website Design and Development:

    • Designed and developed a professional, user-friendly website that serves as the central hub for Summer Dennis’s online presence.

    • The website features an integrated music player, a photo and video gallery, a biography, a blog for updates, and a contact form.

    • Implemented SEO best practices to ensure high search engine rankings for relevant keywords, increasing organic traffic.

  • Social Media Marketing:

    • Developed a content strategy and managed the creation of engaging content across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok).

    • Grew her social media following by 120% and increased engagement rates through targeted campaigns and interactive content.

    • Utilized social media listening tools to monitor conversations and adjust the strategy in real-time.

  • Email Marketing:

    • Built a subscriber list and created a series of automated email campaigns to nurture fan relationships.

    • Designed and distributed regular newsletters to keep fans informed about new releases, tour dates, and exclusive content.

    • Achieved an average open rate of 28% and a click-through rate of 4% for campaign emails.

  • YouTube Channel Management & Advertising:

    • Optimized her YouTube channel for discoverability, including keyword-rich titles, descriptions, and tags for her music videos and other content.

    • Developed and executed a targeted YouTube advertising strategy to promote her lead singles, resulting in over 750,000 views and a significant increase in subscribers.

    • Analyzed viewer data to refine ad targeting and maximize return on investment.

  • Paid Advertising Campaigns (Google Ads & Social Media Ads):

    • Created and managed targeted ad campaigns on Google and various social media platforms to drive traffic to her website, streaming services, and ticket sales pages.

    • Achieved a Cost Per Click (CPC) that was 35% below the industry average and delivered a positive ROI on advertising spend.
